Our story
The Leeds Gin and Prosecco Festival is the North's LARGEST festival of its type. Founded in 2018 by two friends with a passion for Gin and Prosecco, our aim is to bring you the most flavoursome Gins and Proseccos from around the word for you to sample, taste and buy.
Long gone are the days of a Gordon's and Tonic, or a glass of flat fizz. We have a real passion for our craft, and we're on a mission to help you travel the world through the botanical flavours of Gin and Prosecco. At our events you'll find over 40 Gins from around the world. We also pick two of the finest Proseccos in the country for you to enjoy.
Arriving at our Gin Festival, you'll be welcomed by our amazing hosts, who will talk you through how your session works, and more importantly, you'll be given your FREE Gin glass, and complimentary drinks token so you can start enjoying your tipple as soon as you walk in. Guided through our Gins by our expert bar-team and our accompanying tasting booklet, you'll chose which Gins or Proseccos you want to start with, and then we will help you pair it with a tonic, or with fruit for your Prosecco.
Not only that, but our hand-picked suppliers will be there to help you pick the best Gins with their sampling stations. Oh, and you can even take home a discounted bottle or two, direct from the suppliers.
Arriving for a Tipsy Afternoon Tea session, you'll be greeted by our waiting staff, who will help you find your table (groups of two may be grouped with other small groups). They will bring you your very own pot of Gin and talk you through your afternoon tea experience!

Enjoy an Afternoon Tea...with a TWIST. Cakes, scones and small sandwiches served with your very own POT of Gin and Tonic!
Each sitting will include: 1 x serving of 'afternoon tea' snacks, plus your very own Pot of Gin and Tonic to share.

How does the bar work?
We operate a cashless bar. Tokens can be purchased online, or on the day for £5 and this will get you any drink (choose from over 40 gins or a glass of fizz!) We will have two large bars with plenty of staff to make sure there is no hanging around
What else will be going on?
We will have a "Prosecco Garden & Paddock" where you can relax in style, 4 suppliers, where you can taste and sample their gins before buying a bottle of 2 if you want to....
There will also be Masterclasses where our bartenders will show you how to make a G&T even better.
Top this off with live musicians and you're in for a treat!

Is there enough food for everyone?
Yes, we have tried and tested the portions (several times!) On average you'll each be served with a scone with butter, cream, and jam (you choose the order, cream of jam first...) 2 x Sweet treats. 2 x finger sandwiches.
Please note we cannot cater for customers with specific dietary requests, or allergies and therefore do not recommend this event for those with dietary needs or intolerances including, (but not limited to) nut, gluten, and dairy-free. Our food is prepared off-site, and therefore we cannot guarantee that it is prepared in a nut, gluten or dairy-free environment.
How does the seating work for Tipsy Tea
We operate a 'family restaurant-style' seating service, so some groups may be seated at the same table, but don't worry, you'll still get all of your own food and drinks, and won't have to share a thing!
How do you pay for additional drinks tokens on the day?
Tokens are available to buy for £5 from our reception area and you can buy as many as you would like.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a minimum purchase of 3 drinks tokens to pay via card.
Do you use plastic straws?
No - we like turtles, but don't worry, we sell metal straws that you can take home!
For health and safety reasons, you may not bring a metal straw into the event from outside, but you may purchase one to collect at the start of the event to help you sip away! This can then be taken with you and used over and over again. These are priced at £2
How old must I be to come to your events?
You'll need to be able to prove you are at least 18... So get those IDs ready
Can I get some water?
Yes there is FREE water at all of our events
What if I miss my session?
We have a limited number of spaces at each event so you are not able to swap session times.
Can I get a refund?
Sadly not, but we can transfer your ticket to our next event with 48 hours notice.
What about COVID-19?
We have Introduced a bigger floor plan to allow more distancing, and have added extra sessions so that the big hall will not be as full. If the event is postponed, your ticket will be postponed to the next date free of charge.
I had tickets to the 2020 event - what do I do?
Nothing! Keep your original ticket, print it, and bring it with you to the 2021 date! If you want to change the session time you originally chose, please email hello@leedsginfestival.com. As a thank you for waiting, you will all receive an additional FREE Gin and Tonic voucher. Simply turn up with your original ticket.
